Should I just encode in MP3 320 VBR I download from Emusic in that format.

I plan on getting an Ipod touch 4th gen when they are released. would Itunes music work straight on an X1061?

Any input regarding the X1061 and AAC is HIGHLY appreciated.

Thank you.

My lower-range Sony players support AAC files with the .m4a extension, which is lossy AAC from iTunes. I have not tried using ALAC.....although generally I find lossless files on a portable player a waste of space....with my portable gear I can't hear the difference. Of course, YMMV, with your higher-grade headphones.

Ok, screwing around with dBpoweramp,,,,, comparing to Itunes downloaded tracks, tweaking to match,,,,, GOT IT!! If these work on my X1061 you'll be my new hero!

Thank you!

EDIT:
They work, you're a god!
