I've never owned a subwoofer before and never bothered keeping track. I know Dayton obviously is a well recognized brand in both the mainstream and enthusiast markets. But I was wondering what your opinions of this subwoofer were: http://www.amazon.com/Dayton-SUB-120-Watt-Powered-Subwoofer/dp/B000C9NV78

I've read the reviews and everyone seems to be of the opinion that it should cost double what it's going for. Could it be too good to be true?

Please note, the musical ability of this subwoofer is primary.

My maximum budget for a subwoofer at this point in time is $250 USD. If you can beat this sub for less than that, let me know. My budget may go up in time but if this subwoofer is everything everyone claims it is, I may just go ahead with the purchase.

By the way, I should ask, do you have a go to website for reviews? If so, let me know so I can check it out.
