I've only tested it with iems. Can you tell me if it'll perform well with hd 555?

 

One thing, did you notice when you have a card inserted the player takes a little longer to initialize?

 I haven't been able to test HD555's or the likes myself, but there was an earlier post regarding heavier loads and it seemed top be quite capable. It's very common to have longer start-up when using external memory, all my players with cards do take longer than without.

This thing on the warm, neutral or colder side of the signature?  Anyone know what DAC they are using?

I would say that the sound sig is powerful and natural, quality over quantity. I'll shut up now and let the other owners chip in with their conclusions

my friend who has two of them said the sound is different, i dont know if the codec chip or internal is same or not, but i think the sound output is just different, and not to forget that gumstick doesnt have bbe

Just got the Gumstick in.  The Sflo2 LO is better definitely.  Still early for me to say anything else.

Does anyone have one for sale ? id realy like one and also cant find where to buy one. Would prefer second hand as its cheaper!
