Definitely on board with the HTX7 recommendations- I found that a few of the modifications suggested on this very site also helped to balance the signature out more, not that I found the stock sound unappealing in the least.

They're not bad indeed... But the ES7 sounds better still.

Good compromise, but not in the same size range as the other models mentionned, if this has an importance...
