Because of a slight hearing impairment in my right ear, I am looking for a DAC / headphone DAC where it's possible to adjust the L/R balance through the Sound control panel in OS X.
Budget is about $500, but, of course, I can go cheaper. ;)
I know some DACs allow balance to be adjusted, but it seems most(!) doesn't. I have seen screen shots testifying to the first, but I don't know which DACs they are from. See here, for example:
