i have and love a thorens td 147 which i am getting recabled,, infact i love its sound so much i am planning some major upgrades on it.
i will rewire tonearm with cardas clear 33 awg wire,
however i am super worried that it may be too bright?
im pretty sure it similar to the KAB mods,
does anyone have a tonearm rewire horror story to freak me out further?? besides of course soldering mishaps.
Moreover, i am seriously considering installing rca preouts and a ground post to back of plinth.
we all know less connections is better,, so would doing this be a big audio fo paux?
im sure with good cable i wouldnt be able to hear the differences anyhow,, but i still worry about unwanted vibrations..
