FS. again Singlepower Balanced Extreme..

Sold....

 

 

This is a Singlepower Audio Supra fully balanced Headphone/pre-amp. With a Extreme out put section. (This amp uses the same output tubes as the Woo Audio Wa22  6080, 2399 and many many more)


 There are RCA and XLR inputs but only XLR outputs in the back for the pre-amp section. The round knob on top selects the XLR/RCA inputs.

In the front there are XLR and a 1/4 headphone jacks.

I have lots of tubes but the Chatham Electronics 2399 are extremely rare...the big ones  in the back.. 

 

The amp is Audiogon rated 8/10 no scratches or dings non smoker no pets  The only thing is the finish is automotive paint, I believe and from dusting there are "in just the right light" some very lite swirl marks (auto talk).

 Asking 1200.00 plus shipping and paypal fees.(I was asking over $3000.00 when I was trying to sell before)

 

Reason for selling I have this amp, a Woo Audio WA22, and a Balancing Act..I can't listen to them all..

 

If you are scared of Singlepower amps,, I will add,,,Kevin Gilmore has gone over this amp, it is safe according to Kevin,,,and  it also sounds better than ever (he changed a few things.)

whew- just saw this ad. i heard this amp a while back at one of the spring nyc meets, and it was impressive! i've never heard k340s sound quite like that, and balanced they were taken up a notch to an even higher performance level.

the ny crew has been known to throw some great meets (with a particular tip of the hat to bozebuttons, immtbiker, ericzen, jahn, siburning, et al), pls join us for more of them. there's a joisey meet coming up in a few wks (http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/494240/annual-new-jersey-meet-saturday-july-24th), i imagine there will be a fall meet around nov or dec, and there's serious talk of a very serious meet - !!! canjam !!! - next april in these parts. hope to see you (and mebbe one of your grand amps - and hopefully the new lucky owner of this unique piece that you're selling (it was the only one he ever built quite like that, no?)) will see fit to attend with this baby in tow!
