I'm not a huge Nordost fan, particularly of their older flat wire designs like Blue Heaven and Red Dawn. They are a bit thin sounding in the bass and mid-bass, and VERY delicate. I like Audio-Magic, DH Labs, Purist Audio Design, and Kubala-Sosna.

thanks you just saved me 150.    i hate thin sound, i much prefer thick with lots of punch for bass pedal,   i have often passed over silver for fear of thin or overly birght.    on my main rig i use a kimber hero with wbt .    but id  like to  try something different on my turntable,,, and if i liike that ill try it on my main setup as well.

maybe ill try the dh labs, hope they got a nice one under 200 giver take.

cheers
