Yes, good job.

Plus, you`ll need these simple tools:

My experiences with the T5p before and after the cable mod were way too chronologically spread out for me to say for sure, but I didn't think the sound was massively different in any way. I would still recommend the removable cable mod, though, if only to get away from those godawful stock Beyer cables and have a little say in what kind of cable works best for a given situation, especially regarding length, ergonomics, etc.

Is the cable replacement a game changer? Supposing there won't be any trouble with the stock cable... Thing is i live in Europe and will cost me a big amount of money to send it to Moon Audio or ALO (i am way to scared to mod them myself)...

Short answer is no, don't bother.

The stock cable on my T5p broke so I had to get a new cable anyway. So I got a silver+gold cable mounted instead. I like how it looks. I had mine recabled by a guy here in Denmark. He has been recabling a lot of headphones during the years and his work is always top notch. You can PM me for his contact details if you think shipment to Denmark <--> Romania is worth the price.

But as AJheadfi said - if your current cable works then keep it.

Exactly. Except for requiring a different cable length of problems with the connector, I don't think its worth it. My unit even came with an extension cable in the box.

@Dopaminer don't tell me that you *don't* have those simple household items readily available? You need most of them for changing light bulbs as well ;-)

Congratulation to @DimaSebastian

Imo i think a replacement cable sounds different than a stock cable, if you are willing to pay for it you wont be sorry you did
