FS; Black grado 325 with grado reference recable & flats

Okey dokey

i've had multiple pairs of these and sold others - even had these up for sale before A-Bing them against RS-1 and HF-2 and keeping these

but the time has finally come these are metal (not plastic) and frankly some folks rube off the lettering to make them look all black 

never did that but do appreciate the lack of attention drawn by them vs. the RS series

some folks love these - some not so much

(note - since folks are asking -  the drivers are the transition drivers - not the HP star drivers that found their way into a few of these - for folks who haven't heard the transition driver are smoother and less edgy than the newer grados - and no longer available - that's not just something for collectors but they are really a distinct sounding grado that many folks prefer and rarely come to market).

for those who do poor man's PS-1 is what i believe to be a very, very accurate description - most folks dig these for rock but acoustic guitar and vocals on these are where i see their sweet spot - PRaT galore

these do sound very nice off something as simple as a portable amp (used them with a cowon player ampless to great delight also) - but man they also scale up

also pads really change this - i adore these with flats  - but am also including bowels too

the cable was recabled by Moon Audio using grado's Reference (think PS-1)

and this has the wider leather headband on it 

all in all a fantastic can - 

condition - please consider this used gear, scuffed, worn etc.

bought these for around (over?) $300 then anther investment in the cable and installation and the pads putting it near $450 - which i still consider very solid outcompeting to my ears used RS-1s and giving me a good taste of the PS-1 for cheap

that said - they are yours for $OLD shipped - need quick sale

1 -  if you don't want the flats - knock off another $20 (but these really do sound great with the flats)

2 - no box - but i will dig up a case, not a great one but one nonetheless
