i am the second owner - bought it a few months ago - used this maybe 40 hours and am selling the system - don't know about the original owner's usage time

 

comes with tubes

 

Also note you can use this as a preamp

 

I'm note going to say too much on the sound - if you know what this is you know what you're getting - great tube sound - solid design using easy-to-find tubes

 

 

condition - please consider this used gear, scuffed, worn etc.

Also please no junior head-fiers (unless you're real serious and know what you are doing) - no offense but just too many back outs etc with them as of late (if you commit then back out I'll leave you feedback

i have about 10 pages of positive feedback

 

also note - i ran this with a VDAC and some 701s all also currently selling (check ads) and they sound GREAT - killer bang for buck system

 

and i'll sell it cheap - $OLD shipped and paypalled

Granted, it's a little scruffy but that is a very good price for an EAR. FREE BUMP for an EAR!

seriously - i don't think you'll find anything close to this for the cash

 

also hook it up to an am (even a T-amp) as a pre amp and some speakers

This is an absolutely amazing amp, especially for Grados. Fun, fun, fun! Dr. Lloyd Peppard is an awesome guy too!

answer to folks questions:

 

1 - sorry i can't hold this for anyone

 

2 - i don't know how it is different than the HD

 

3 - it does sound good with other cans but very, very sweet with grados
