I recently purchased a DV337 tube amp here on the forums, and a new pair of Beyer DT880's to match. I have not been using my Senn's at all, and cannot justify keeping a second pair of expensive headphones around any longer.
I bought the headphones second-hand locally in February of 2009. The original owner received them as a Christmas present and had put very few hours on them before selling to me. I have used them regularly in a child and smoke free home since. The 10 foot grey (newer version) Cardas replacement cable was bought second-hand here at Head-Fi in September of last year. I also have the original HD600 cable, along with a HD650 replacement cable that I bought new from Sennhesier.
The only signs of wear on the headphones are pads that show some use (but still in very good shape) and the plug on the cable is what you would expect as well. There is a slight scrape of the black paint on the left grill, but it is very slight and hard to see unless you are looking for it. No paint cracking on the headband at all, and nothing else that I can see at all.
