KSC-75 issue

So I have 3 pairs of the dang things and my third pair finally got issues as well. The first two just had the wire come off the drivers so i need to recable them at some point, however they are both modded and missing the ear clips so I have a feeling koss wont honor the warranty in that situation. The third pair which have been my main headphones for quite some time now are having an issue with the 3.5mm plug. Regardless of what i plug it into the left speaker rarley gets sounds unless i play with the plug and rotate it alot, do the 3.5 mm plugs wear out? It seems that is the issue, again i would just send it into koss but the cushions are cut and the driver cover has been drilled. 

seems amazon has new ones for 12 dollars probally a better deal than sending in for warranty unless someone has two sets of ear clips?

So if i sent in the 3 pairs all of them modified and two missing ear clips ill get three snazzy new pairs back?
