Any commentary on the FiiO E7?

Just curious about this device. Any good? Wolfson DAC chips have a great rep so I'm wondering if the FiiO E7 is a toy worth considering. Better than Nuforce Icon? On par? Anywhere near a Meier? Thanks.

Wolfson doesn't mean everything - it also depends on how E7 is designed and so forth.

 

That said - considering its 'budget' product type - I wouldn't say it'd go anywhere near a Meier product.

 

I've bought both the E3 and E5. The E7 certainly does look nice and I might consider getting one to use an external DAC for my Thinkpad.

 

Depends on what gear you've got now I guess.
