Belden 1694A Digital Audio Cable

Ok I am confused on the connectors BNC, F, I know what RCA is.

But what is BNC and F? And when would I use those connectors? Never heard of them.

I am trying to hook up my Asus Essence ST to my receiver.

Probably this:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021809&p_id=5604&seq=1&format=2

if it is stereo analog.

Or this:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021810&p_id=653&seq=1&format=2

if it is digital.

"But what is BNC and F?"  If you have to ask, you don't need it.  Just keep it simple.  You probably just need a M/M RCA cable.

Be careful... analog audio isn't the same as a digital spdif connection.. using any random rca cable may cause problems.

You should use a proper 75ohm cable when connecting your components via spdif.

A f connector is the type of connector you typically use to hook up your cable TV.  BNC is more often seen in professional audio/video applications than in a home system.
