Question about the HD580, grills, cable ect

I want to get the HD580 soon but was curious about what and where to buy the 650/600 pieces that go with the 580

 

Are these the ones I would need?

Those are kind of expensive. You can call Sennheiser directly and ask them about the grills for the HD600's. The part number for the grills is #092815 (about $8.00 USD), the 650 cord is part #092885.

The problem with Sennheiser USA is that they not always have the parts and you have to wait a long time for them.

That is true. I recently upgraded my HD580's with parts from the 600 and cable from the 650. Most parts they had in stock but I had to wait about a month for the cable. It didn't matter, I was in no hurry, but if time is an issue you might want to check with them to see if they have that parts you want in stock.
