Sold: Stax SR-5NB Gold "Pro"

I decided to downgrade to a cheaper system. So up for sale is an extremely rare SR-5NB (SR-5 Gold) Pro. It was bought from the original owner in Japan, then later it was converted to Pro using the drivers and the cable from an Alpha Pro Excellent (so it uses a better PC-OCC cable compared to OFC on the Gamma Pro). This improves the extension (on both ends), soundstage and detail retrieval as well. For me, it is also much more comfortable than the SR-X Mk3 (Pro).

 

It is in very good cosmetic condition with only a few tiny nicks on the housing.
