Fuze and HD Track Files

I have new Fuze that I can't get to play Flac files that I download from HD Tracks. All the updates have been applied to the unit. An example file is 24bit 40% compression and 123 MB.

 

Any thoughts

I don't think you can play 24bit flac on the Sansa's.  Only 16bit.

You could try rockbox. I doubt you'll get the full resolution but rockbox will probably downsample it.

 

With my 24/96 tracks, I normally convert them to 16 bit V0 mp3 before using them on my portable players. You could do the same thing but with 16 bit flac.

Thank you (both of you) - I think this is starting to make sense now.... I have no problem with the 16 bit files only the 24's.
