I think the new one will be about average. OK Computer and Kid A are the only albums I really like from them, and their last three studio albums were kinda meh to me. So I guess they're just going through the motions.

Agreed, and HTTT was a favourite of mine when it came out, still quite good.

Um what? Amnesiac is on par with OK Computer in terms of perfection.

I like Amnesiac a lot too. They seemed to dabble with a lot of different styles on that album. And it has the best sound quality of any Radiohead album in my opinion.

Anyone know if they're going to put the next on out as a free download? That was great and, yes, I paid for it.

I love Ok Computer. But Kid A is on another level. It transcends the rock tag and for the first time showcases the other forms of music that influenced them . I always felt like they were my generation's Beatles, in that they were the band that everyone was watching, including other musicians.

 

Can't wait for the next album and set of shows! Time to start saving $$$
