Can I pick up a volume pot for my CMOY build at radioshack?

Hi all,

I've been taking some of my free time and putting together a CMOY.  So far so good, but I'm not holding my breath that I'll get it all right on the first shot.

In my haste to order the parts list from tangent's site I apparently neglected to order a volume pot.  Is that something I should be able to pick up from Radioshack?  I'm familiar with guitar audio pots but am assuming that I'll need something much different for the CMOY.  What would i be looking for?

If you're following Tangent's schematic you need a 10k pot.  You'll want a logarithmic pot so you get fluid sound level adjustment.  I'd imagine radio shack would carry such a part.

One thing about cheaper pots.  They tend to be uneven especially at lower levels.  So you may get one channel with a bit more volume than the other at the lower volume positions.

Radio Shack does sell two pots that will work for the CMoy pocket amp.  I've added both to the optional parts table.
