I am abysmal at soldering and couldn't fathom working on something like a 30 pin connector. What I need is a splitter with one male and two female ends. One of the female ends needs to feed power to the iPod for charging purposes and the other female end needs to be fed power from the iPod to the receiver module of a Monster wireless remote control. If anyone could help please send me a PM and respond to this thread since I'll be subscribing to it. Thank you much.

In search of someone to build me a iPod dock connector splitter

Have you had any luck with a solution on this? I'm in the same situation. I need to charge and hook up an accessory at the same time.
Hrm..
What you could do is make a PCB similar to these spreader PCB's at chargeconvertor, except for include ends for both male and female. Include solder points for each pin.

Then all you need to do is connect a USB cable to the USB power pins and you're done.
EDIT: looks like they have just what you need on the development board page.
Either the dock at the top for $15 or the "practice male/female" board looks like it should do what you want..

Just solder USB power pins to the male end of the "practice" board and you're done =)
Not pretty but it'd work =p
