My Amp has a headphone socket. When I plug it in the sound is coming through the headphones and the speakers. How do I get just headphone output without unplugging my speakers?
Cheers

you need to tell us whether you have read the instruction manual for your amp.
once you have done that (or if that manual isnt available)
you would have to use a 'speaker selector switch' of some sort.. simple-ist solution without knowing how the radio works.
It's a Marantz PM7200 and the instruction manual says nothing on the subject - other than pointing out that the hole in the front of the amp is for connecting a headphone jack to.
I believe this is your amp?
When you plug in your headphones, turn off the speakers by pushing button 1 or button 2. (fourth and fifth units from the bottom left).
Nice looking amp BTW
Thank you very much, that did the trick. I looked back in the manual and saw that this was in fact clear - so my bad for not reading it well enough.
i logged in just to add a second notion towards the visual beauty of that amp.
i think it looks very nice.. very classy, much like what so many on this forum are looking to obtain (audio-wise anyways not visually)
And for the price is an absolute bargain,if you have the space a good intergrated is a much better buy than a headphone amp.
Seriously. That's why I use my Marantz :)
