The Sony PBD-V30 Portable CD-Player is in good working condition and excellent cosmetic condition. The retail price for the CD player was $800. This was the first portable DVD player released by Sony. The player recognizes CDs quickly. The optical line-out (tested using a DAC), the headphone-out and the analog line-out are working. The line-out sound quality is very good with a wide sound stage. The player can be used as battery powered transport for feeding a battery powered DAC (e.g. Apogee Mini-DAC, HeadRoom, Micro-DAC, iBasso D1 or D10, AOS Piccolo, etc) by using the optical digital line-out. Has a mini jack for video/sound output, S-video out jack for TV, headphone line-out, analog line-out and optical digital line-out.
