New gear acquisition syndrome has taken a hold of me, and the old must go.
For sale is an AOS flute. This is the original transportable DAC/amp. It is also one of (if not the) first portable headphone amps to make use of a digital volume control. I have owned it for some time (I think I bought it in early 2006/late 2005) and bought it from Philodox who was the original owner. There are about 5 of these amps in existence, so you will probably never see another one.

This amp still sounds outstanding as it did when it was new. Its only (and I do mean only) downside compared to the new breed of micro-small amps is that it is far from micro-small. I think it makes up for it in SQ, but dont run a portable rig anymore. The amp dies require an external 12V power source. A wallwart, or rechargeable battery is ideal.
The amp has a couple minor dings on the edges of the panels, one of which was there when I got it. Otherwise, it is in tip top condition and ready to bring beautiful music to another happy owner.
