FS: Event TR6 Active Desktop Speakers

Up for sale are my Event TR6 monitors, They are in excellent condition. I used these  to listen to music and watch movies from my computer, they were the best sounding monitors in their price range when I went to check them out at guitar center, whoever gets these will be very happy. more info here http://www.zzounds.com/item--EVETR6

 

Im asking 250 + shipping obo  shipping is 30 in the US and to Canada itwould be 70)

whats the difference between these and thee audioengine a5's?

The speakers in the audioengines are basically passive speakers and theres one amp attached to power both of them , these are active speakers they use active crossovers instead of passive ones and are bimplified so each speaker has its own amp.

 

For what its worth I did audition some a5's and  they where very nice sounding speakers but I liked these better I could hear more detail and they had a much better soundstage
