Hi
It is a great sounding amp with a small mod(added a bit more capacitance). My Soha is coming up and I dont have any space left for this one..
Overall its a great sounding amp and pretty much brand new/in perfect working condition.
I built the CKKIII myself used the best possible components. it is not even used for 100 hours yet.
Its in the hammond all metal enclosure and the psu is in another hammond with plastic ends. the trafo box was an old enclosure I had. Thats the reason for the extra hole on it and the scratches.
The main box is in very very good condition(the small dots are dust). I drilled some ventilation holes on it and I think they look very nice too.
I also added some extra capacitors to it. More capacitance made the bass a bit more punchier.
Overall its a great sounding amp, very detailed and airy. but it really shines with my AKG's. I will throw in the impedance adapter that I made which makes the amp sound very nice with my other headphones - even with Ms1's
the amp is dead quiet. I realised Im just not a solid state person.
I will also include the rca cables that I had here is the thread for them
The amp cost me around £120
I would like to get £90 80 shipped in UK and £95 85 in EU. I believe its an acceptable price for the package but I would like to hear your offers too.
Paypal or cash on collection. Postage will be Registered.
For Eu people; I might be able to change the mains plug before shipping it if I can find one at the hardware store..
EDIT: Trade: Im also after a decent pair of earbuds to use while cycling/with helmet. Interested in good earbuds, clip-ons. Whatever fits under a cycle helmet..
here are the pictures:
thanks
