Looking for a forum about digital cameras

hi,

i want to buy a digital camera and i am looking for a good forum that deals with digital cameras.

 

do you know a really good one?

Do you want a DSLR camera or a point and shoot camera?

i am looking for a camera that uses the "sensor" of a dslr camera but without the mirror.

 

like the panasonic lumix lx3 or olympus ep-1.

 

i will check out the mentioned forums.

LX3 doesn't have sensor as big as DSLR, not sure who told you that. But it can take awesome pictures though (as long as it's not over ISO400).

EP1 performs better image quality wise and high ISO wise, but the tradeoff is bigger size, and of course more expensive.

But if you are after a casual, high quality P&S, the LX3 is a very very good option.

as pointed out already LX3 is a compact. You are probably looking for the micro four thirds cameras: Luxim DMC-G1 and DMC-GH1 (and the Olympus) None of these are full size DSLR, but I don't think it would matter to most people. Also there is a new Sony system to rival them: NEX-5 & NEX-3
