Sansa LODs on eBay

There's a bunch of Sansa LODs on ebay from a seller which I don't think has been discussed here so far. Here's the particular one I'm looking at:

I would be very interested in hearing some thoughts on him. I'm thinking of buying an Apple LOD from him too

No problem, it'll be a while...I'm assuming this thread will be dead by then, but I'll make a note to PM both of you with my impressions compared to a 3.5-3.5 interconnect. I won't be able to tell you about the iPod one specifically, but if it's by the same company, at least you'll know the quality of the product...

Thanks usf09, I would appreciate that.

 

One thing I didn't think to do before was check the seller's feedback profile, specifically for responses from LOD buyers. The only negatives & neutrals all relate to a similar bunch of camera accessories; there are currently 6 or 7 comments on Sansa LOD sales, all positive, including "Quality LOD, im stunned, works great A+" from someone who's been buying quite a lot of headphones & audio gear...

The dock and connector doesn't add to the sound - if it does then it means its broken lol.

The filtering caps in the dock is what makes of breaks it, if not any generic ones that is well made with good soldering practice and workmanship will do.

 

Had a guy bought a cheap ipod LOD from Fiio that broke within a month from everyday usage.
