From what I read, my guess is: True.

 

I have the UE11, thinking about the JH13 next. Want something a bit different.

 

And anyone know where the UE18 would fit here??

I think that the answer would be yes except for the fact that there is less SQ difference between the JH-13 and 16, just bass level differences.

That's how I think after listen to the demo units of JH13 and 16. One if analytical, airy and precise; the other is warm, musical and more fun. I personally prefer the JH13 myself.
