Replacement Cable for Fisher Triple.fi Remold

Hey All,

I got my Triple.fi's remolded at fisher hearing and am loving the custom fit. When I had them remolded I bought the cable that they offer. Well, I'll admit that I can be a bit rough on cables, or at least I've gone through a few for various headphones. The cables I'm using now are starting to go bad a couple inches away from the plug from putting my phone in my pocket. So I'd like to get a beefier cable. So I'm looking for suggestions on a replacement cable.

I measured the pins on the cables to be 0.102 inches apart from the outside. So it'd be nice if the replacement cable had those same specs. Anyways, I've never gotten a high end cable before and would be willing to spend up to say $80, but could possible be persuaded to spend a bit more if the reason is good enough. I'd prefer a right angle plug, since those have historically lasted longer for me.

Thanks for any help!

Blair

Westone ES cable is sturdy.

I've listened to EU custom, JH Audio, and Westone. They all seem very close in construction and will probably all hold up equally well. I measured the resistance in each cable and found the Westone was higher than the other two..It didn't play well with my amp. I'm keeping the JH Audio as a backup...I'm going to sell the Westone (maybe 8 hours of break in and one hour of actual use on my head)..give me a shout if you are interested.

Your Fishers have the sockets that fit all these cables right?

Steve
