Does anyone have Spotify on their ipod touch AND some sort of ipod dock?

I have a touch and spotify but has not yet gotten a dock for my pod. 

 

Will spotify work through the dock or only via the headphone jack?

 

I have heard both that it works and that it wont so id like to hear from someone who has tried. Not going to shell out for a dock if it wont work.

I have Spotify on my iPhone and regularly use it via line out on the dock. I think Spotify is an excellent app for the iPhone and the sound quality is first rate. The only real problem with Spotify is that it doesn't have all the artists I would have liked.

I use the ipod and spotify for several hours a day. IT is brilliant :)

 

Im glad it works through the dock. The editor of what-hifi said it didnt but he had not tried in a long time so it had me worried. Ill go get myself a dock then :)
