FS: XIN Supermacro 3V6 with switches and more.... 56K death

Hello FS-Fi

I have been analyzing my system recently and a few things have stood out as not being used in years due to my fairly stationary lifestyle. Probably the biggest of those things is my XIN Supermacro 3V6

I have had this amp for what seems like ages, perhaps 3 years. The amp has always served me well, although I did manage to blow it up in the middle there (oops!) I sent it back to XIN and he fixed it free of charge despite my offer to pay, and admitting that the catastrophic failure was entirely my own fault. I miss his way of doing things, its a shame he cant get new amps out the door.

Anyways, the amp has 4 switches. Remember its ABC:

Impedance - adds 75 ohms to ety er4p to convert to S. This is the definitive Etymotic amp.

Amplification (gain switch)

Bass boost. Does what it says!

Crossfeed.

The amp has stacked BUF-634 with 100ohm class-A bias resistors. All 4 buffers have matched date/batch codes.

The amp has an Analog Devices AD823AN dual op amp. The op amp is on a DIY class-A adapter socket.

The good:

Its an awesome amp that has unfortunately fallen out of "Flavor Of As Long as it was in production" because its not in production. Bummer. Very few portables held as much esteem as this little guy did.

I have one! Right here! Its for sale, and you can get it in exactly as long as it takes the postman to do his thing plus 1 business day for me to do my thing and get it to the post office. Best deal ever!!!111

I have the nifty multi voltage charger.

The Medium/bad:

The amp does not come with batteries. My old ones were dead and gone and I never replaced them. Consider it an opportunity to get your own brand spanking new rechargeable cells! It takes 8 AAA cells.

The amp has some light scratching on the top of the case. It does not penetrate the anodization except on the very corners of the amp. Sorry, I could not take a picture of it in all its glory.

For this fine amplifier I would like $250 including shipping and paypal in the USA.

Pictures!

Ooh such a pretty amp. Please buy it before I change my mind and take it off sale and start a portable rig again.

How can you say no to an amp that looks like this under its clothes?

Op amp right, buffers left. note! class A bias resistor (one, there is another under the opamp) visible on opamp socket, and class-A bias resistors on buffers.

Op amp on the little class-A bias base (left) and stacked buffers (right)
