compact, loud, cheap ultraportables.

Sennheiser HD-598s are the most comfortable headphones I've had the opportunity to use. I recommend these wholeheartedly for any first-time hi-fi buyer because of their excellent soundstage and...
I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...
Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...
I am looking in the 16GB or 32GB size, I'd rather not have something that I can loose the cap on, but it isn't a deal breaker. My main goal would be to find something relatively quick. I have USB 3.0 on one system, so that is an option also.
If you can still find the Sandisk Cruzer Titanium, then I'd recommend one of those! Those little guys are indestructible.
Same here. It has a retractable plug; mine doesn't stay out when I plug it in since I've worn it out so much by playing with it (flip it in, flip it out, flip it in...). Pretty good read and write speeds.
My brother also has the Patriot Xporter XT, which I also recommend. Fast and rubbery. He lost the cap, tho.
I got a 16GB Patriot Xporter XT from Newegg for $21 shipped after rebate about a year ago. It's held up perfectly.
I would also recommend Super Talent and Sandisk drives. I've had a 4GB Super Talent drive that gets formatted and fully written to on a daily basis and I haven't had a single problem with it. Avoid PNY.
I ended up getting the Patriot 16GB XT but for 33 shipped after rebate :-\ Nice deal you got. It is a little large and I might pick up another micro sized one.
Don't get one of them PNY flash drives that flip out on one end. I got one because I thought that end functioned in sd slots, but it turned out to just be a flimsy usb plug.
I bought the Corsair Survivor Ultra Rugged 16gb for about $45. It's a bit large, but it is completely waterproof. I've toasted 3 of the supposedly water immune voyagers leaving them in my pants accidentally. The Survivor works great and I never have to worry about replacing it until the size is too small or speed tech progresses faster than I expect.
I have the 8GB version of this one (link goes to the 16GB version) and find it to be the best-made & fastest among my 4 other USB flash drives (the others are made by PNY and Kingston).
