SOLD::   YAMAHA  YH-3  ORTHODYNAMICS  HEADPHONE.



It seems that what with the HE-5LE Planar popularity and recent Audeze LCD-2 craze we are having another resurgence  of interest in isodynamic - orthodynamic - planar-magnetic - magnetostatic or just simply planar headphone technology, and despite their age (1978) , they can still give electrostatics a good run for the money, and the drive principle makes it easy to mod them and improve them even further.They most certainly show a blend of the best of both dynamic and electrostatic headphones - good solid bass, clean, crisp and non-fatigueing.



Impedence:  150 ohms



Frequency Response: 20 - 20 000 Hz



Diaphragm:  12 micron polyester



Magnet: Sintered Ferrite, 46 mm diameter



Sensitivity:  93 dB/mW
