I just checked and I only paid $34.55 for the hybrid board set, caps and shipping on 11/19/09.

I hope this won't end too quickly. I will have the chance to spend some time with a Stax headphone in the next few weeks; then I will decide whether I want to go for an electrostatic system and commission a eXStatA.

I'm still in the fence of choosing whether SS or Hybrid type, I've been tryin to search the difference signature between these two but hasn't found any. Please help me in finding review of each type - my music is more into 80% Rock, Metal and Instrumental Jazz and 20% Female vocals :)
