Folks, now that CanJam is successfuly over, we can offer another group buy for exstata boards.

 

The same boards as in the beta will be available: the SS amp board, the Hybrid amp board, and the PS board. Obviously a complete set consists of two of either type of amp and one PS (three boards). These boards will have the ground traces for grounding the CCS heatsinks.

 

Don't know the cost until we see how many sign up.

 

As before, only one board set per person.

Follow through on the group buy depends on getting enough orders. :)

Just an update to tell you all that I have been receiving and organizing the requests. I will post the list of individuals soon. I don't think we have quite enough to make a decent group buy, but interest is coming in every day.

 

So you'll have some numbers, 10 boards of each type will have to be a minimum in order to make a board run. I would prefer, however, to have more like 20-30 if there is enough interest.

If you need more people to make it worthwhile, I might consider grabbing another set of boards to have as spares in case anything ever dies on my build......

I'm interested and kinda on the fence about it as I'm still fairly new to DiY'ing though it would be nice to have for when I finally stop soldering my hand to my face!

While you said price won't be known until you have #s, do you have a ballpark price (+/- $100 type number)?  I've purchased 3 headphone amps in the last year and don't need another, but, it is another toy...

I can only say that it was in the neighborhood of $25 per complete board set in previous runs.
