FS: Millett Hybrid Amplifier

Thread Starter

Here is the addendum to my moving sale, several people have PMed me about it, so here it is.  I have a Millett Hybrid up for sale that I purchased on the forum around the holidays secondhand.

Here is the original thread for the amp:

http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/239093/sold-boutique-millett-hybrid-w-diamond-buffers-and-crossfeed

The crossfeed was removed, and the original STEPS power supply died.  The amp was sent to the OP of that thread (who made the amp) and he replaced it and rebuilt the amp, and put it in a new enclosure (this was about 6 months ago).  Here are some pics of it as it is now:

It has powered everything I've thrown at it, and really mellows down bright headphones, like the Grado 325i and Beyer DT990.  It includes a few sets of tubes:  12FM6, 12FK6, and 12AE6A.

Also a plexiglass cover was created for it, but I left it out of pictures because (while functional) its a bit ugly.  I think I have an unmilled piece of aluminum around here for another vented top I was going to make.

I'm looking to get $165+ shipping in the ConUS for it, OBO.

I'd truly love to keep this, but moving across the country and getting rid of my headphone collection.  The really sad part is six months after I move I will likely be prowling the forums looking to start anew =)

Edit:  For some reason the image tool is giving me errors, sorry for the hyperlinks.

Hi,

You said that the crossfeed was removed and then the OP rebuilt the amp. Did he include crossfeed when rebuilding it? And as for the power supply, did the rebuild include a STEPS power supply or something different? Basically how does the rebuild differ from how you recieved it originally (which is nicely described in OP's for sale thread)?
