Well I never thought I would sell this but since I am moving to Micronesia for about 3 years there just is no point in putting it away in storage for all that time.
This is the original 6 for the game changing PDPS. I implemented this and then Woo Audio started using it on their 6 models. You get much better dynamics, separation and transparency with this supply as well as: Nonpolar Black Gate capacitors in Super E configuration (very expensive), wire wound noninductive resistors (the best ones), Gold/silver oil coupling caps (very expensive) bypassed with a Teflon capacitor, Goldpoint attenuator (the best there is for this type) and the list goes on. The red capacitors are the Black Gate nonpolar for the cathode bypass.
There is a ding in the back where the RCA's are that is evident in the images. This affects nothing but was done in shipping about 2 years ago. The case is like new and free of scratches and the volume control knob is a custom from Goldpoint of solid machined aluminum.
This amp is excellent sounding. I have used metal base GZ34's and the Sophia 274B. I enjoy the Sophia Princess the most. The first capacitor in the supply is an easy load for the tube rectifier and is also bypassed with a teflon capacitor. A 14 gauge 3 wire power cord included. Not one of the fancy ones but in my opinion, does just as good and is what I use.
The switch on the back for different headphones is out of the circuit. I set the transformers to one setting that sounded better with all impedance phones from Grado to Sennheiser.
I have also used this with my JH13 Pro and it is quiet.
Total hard cost of additional parts about $900, maybe a little more, hours of work and many, many more of musical enjoyment. Will sell for $950.00 Plus $30.00 shipping in the US.
