nope the EAC log rip file is included with every album download showing the exact cd rip specs. it also shows that there were no errors reading the cd so they know the flac is a perfect copy

 

EAC = exact audio copy

 

It's a high class music site

 

Also the files are analyzed by spectrum analyzers and on anything but a lossless file u can see a sharp cut off of the upper most frequencies. An improper transcode will show this cut off line on a bad flac and they get deleted instantly and the user warned or even banned

 

They also have a lot of vinyl recorded with expensive equipment into 24/96 flac files

 

Trust me I'm not a dumb enough sucker to be walking around with improperly transcoded flacs. That's really an insult to my intelligence
