Looking for a Higher Capacity Battery for 5.5g 30gb Ipod

I am looking for a higher capacity battery for my 5.5g 30gb Ipod. It currently has a 540mah battery.

Does anyone have any experience with the following batteries?

I am puzzled as to how come there are 900mah batteries for the 30gb and I can only find 850mah batteries for the 80gb Ipod.

I decided to order the 650mah one from Ebay. Further research showed that the 850mah batteries are actually 580mah.

My first test with the 640mah battery yielded an 11% runtime increase over the 540mah battery running ALAC files via Rockbox. 11 hours 30 minutes as opposed to 10 hours 21 minutes.

buy a 32 cf card with adapter, that should increase battery life a lot, make it lighter and increase response. Thought, it seems i'm too late

A 64GB compact flash card is next on my shopping list.

I installed a 64gb cf card, I now get 14 hours and 9 minutes using Rockbox and ALAC.

very nice, I really was expecting more battery life but sounds good nonetheless considering you're only playing lossless.

I think that just sending your imod to RWA is better way. It will get better battery, better parts which are supposed to lack in quality and you could incrase your storage capacity.

What 64gb CF card are you using?  I have Tarkan's adapter in my 32gb 5.5 iMod and Rockboxed and been thinking about going 64.  I've held off since high capacity CF cards can be hit or miss in regards to them being recognized by the firmware.

No troubles?

I am using a Wintec Filemate 600x read, 300x write (model # 3FMCF64GBP-R) that I got from Newegg. It is working just fine so far.
