If yes what flavor do you like? I love Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream. Simple and delicious.

Their ice cream tends to be a bit icy - not a huge fan

I did like their "Sticky Toffee Pudding" special, but that ended ~2 years ago

I know what you're talking about. I think it depends on how it's refrigerated. The majority of the time I get one that is rich and creamy with no icy texture.

Ben and Jerry's all the way.

It's my favorite brand. Vanilla, plain and simple.

Not the best I've had, but considering how easy it is to find I guess it's pretty good.

Ben and Jerry has more thoughtful flavor mixes, but Haagen's new Japanese-market sweet potato and umm... other the flavor is pretty cute. Coldstone's new gum textured ice cream (oops... one year old) is pretty cool too, molecular gastronomy for everyone, well, kind of.

The only ice cream I bought is Haagen Dazs Strawberry. The vanilla is too sweet for me.

Sure, Haagen Dazq is fantastically good... for mass produced ice cream, to me it's the same quality as Ben & Jerry's, except that one has a lot more "basic" flavors and the other a lot more "elaborate flavors". But I'll take my local ice cream producer's ice cream over both of them anyday.

If you happen to swing by Paris, you NEED to taste the Berthillon ice cream, probably one of the best ice creams in the world.

lol I don't much about ice cream in Beijing, I never noticed there I was too busy with the Peking Ducks, lamb hotpots and ethnic food (Uighur especially) to notice lol... I can under stand how local ice cream production in the US would be pretty good, lots of cows after all for the milk. With some equatorial places, you'd want to import

I kind of favor McDonald's "Soft Serve" Ice cream over Haagen Dazs.

It's not bad, but there are plenty of better ice creams out there today. I use to like the Haagen Dazs Coffee ice cream, but I haven't had it in years.
