FS: Beyer DT990 Pro (sold)

I think I'm really narrowing down on the sound signature I like now, so it's time to sell off the rest and stop buying more headphones.  I'm putting a couple up today, and may be putting some more up shortly.

All prices include shipping to Canada.  I'm willing to drop a bit for local sales, and I'm happy to ship to the US, but it will probably be a bit more expensive.  More pictures of the items for sale are here.

With my new upgrade to the DT990/600 (looking forward to their arrival, ElevenBee), it's time for the DT-990 Pros to find a new home.  They are in excellent shape, and come with everything, in the original box.  These have seen a fair bit of use since I got them in January, but they haven't been abused, look great, and sound awesome.  These come highly recommended to a basshead with an amp that can feed them properly.

I'm looking for $SOLD shipped and paypal fees included in Canada.

I'm also (hesitantly) putting my Pioneer Monitor 10s for sale, which I bought on Ebay a few months ago.  I love these headphones, and it's really going to hurt to see them go, but they don't get much head time these days and it's time for a firm pruning.  These suckers are in excellent shape, both physically and sonically.  I had them reterminated with a 1/4" switchcraft plug, as they were crackling when I got them.  The pads are solid and comfortable, and the foam around the drivers is still intact.  Cosmetically, the only serious issue is that the previous owner must have been spray painting near them with silver paint, and there are some specks that won't come off.  I've included a close-up of the specks in the album.  If you like vintage headphones or want to try some and haven't heard these, it's well worth it.  They are pretty special.

I have also put up my Charteroak SP-1 for sale in a different post

No lowball offers, please.  I've tried to price these fairly to sell them. At this point, I don't think I'm after any trades, though I'll entertain interesting offers.

Thanks for reading!

hey,

do you have anything for me: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/496990/wtb-budget-full-size-open-back-headphones-for-canada

(I need something that can be used directly out a laptop)

I just added a pair of SRH-240 to the list.  They are the only ones that could be driven from a laptop directly, but they're closed, not open.

All the others in my post need some hefty amplification to sound their best.

Sorry!

Thanks. I think Shure isn't for her, she was surprisingly specific about open back option, once I explained her the differences :)

cheers,

Great price for those DT990. I just got a pair, so someone else gets to take advantage of this one. In case anyone else is wondering, where in Ontario are you (for local pickup)
