I'll get pics up soon, but I've been putting this off for a while. I'll also be selling my (slightly damaged) Headroom Total Airhead, so check out that thread ---here--- Prices are shipped CONUS and paypal-gifted, so what you see is what you pay. If you pay for "goods", just toss in another dollar or two.
I will ship internationally, but please contact me for shipping costs. Most of these headphones can be made to fit in the USPS small box, meaning $15-ish to anywhere.
I guess you could say that I'm raising money for a heart transplant, as the one I have will probably break as a result of this, so keep that in mind. Heart-transplants don't come cheap,
Creative Aurvana Live! -- $40 SOLD
This is due to the low retail price. These are recabled with a mogami 2893 and (I think) nuetrik plug. I'll double check that if you care. They don't come with any accessories, as I bought them used.
Sony MDR-V6 -- $50
This comes with the Beyerdynamic DT250 pads, and their cable is in stellar condition, but without the quarter inch adapter. I do still have the carry pouch, so let me know if you want that too (if you aren't gonna use it, I'd like to keep it
). They are modded, with a layer of dynamat on the back of the cup, and felt over that to catch some of the reflections. I've also removed the damping material over the baffle, to attempt to open them up. I can tape-mod them if you want, too, which drastically increases the bass at the cost of some of the treble and detail.
AKG K140 -- $30
I just bought this off of eBay, right around the time I finished my SFI plant, so I don't need them anymore. They're unmodded, but can become killer portables with the right damping mods. They are in "fair" condition, having a little bit of damage and slightly worn elastics. I'll try to show this in the pics.
Realistic Pro 30 -- $55
These are priced to sell, considering that most orthodynamics are going for $80-130. They are in super condition (for the most part), and fully damped. They sound beautiful, and for this price, they're an absolute steal. If you like, I got them in their box with the manual and everything, so lemme know if you want that, too. I experimented with some alternative headbands, resulting in a little bit of scratching, but that's mostly hidden; pics to come.
Realistic Nova 66 -- $30
They're not very remarkable, but have a 57mm driver and are currently wearing the V6's old pads -- which are still in excellent condition. They're bass monsters, but with a peak at 3khz-ish, and some treble roll-off. For $5 extra, I'll experiment with damping on them for the helluvit, and I'll refund this if I don't like the changes. They are modded slightly, by cutting away some of the baffle to expose about 52-53mm of the driver, instead of the former 37mm grill; and a layer of window screen to protect the driver. I'll have pics showing it.
Echo SS-2000V -- $30
I bought them based on looks, and they are great at looking good. They're sound is bassy with rolled highs, and like with the Nova's, I'll experiment with damping for $5 extra, conditional on any improvements. I've already modded them with better pads, as the ones that came with it are shot.
