Burning music to a DVD and having it play like an Audio CD? [yes]

Heyo,

I am looking to introduce my girlfriend to Dream Theater and at the same time make a sweet compilation for myself -- all of their longer / epic songs, including the entirety of SFAM and SDOIT, and the Twelve Step Suite.  Unfortunately that brings the play time to something like 8 hours.

Is it possible to burn a disc from files (FLAC/WAV/whatever) onto a DVD, and have it play like regular CDA?  I don't care about supersound, 16/44 is fine.  I just need to fit about 5-8 CDs of music onto one disc, and have it play continuously like a normal CD would.

Thanks

That is, burning music files (what format must they be in?) to a DVD so they play from DVD player.

Thank you.
