I'm working on several other alternatives and will be trying to see if we can get a venue for free, but don't bank on that just yet, but if it's possible, I'll keep you guys informed.

Does anyone here want Comply T-400 tips? I bought 'em but I've never used them as they were too hard to put onto the IE8s and I didn't wanna kill the IE8 speaker. That and a lot of reviews didn't exactly give it great SQ other than isolation.

If anyone would like to test 'em let me know and I'll bring them down to the meet. There are 3 pairs in the box if I'm not wrong and none of them have been used.

quick night bump.

I think the date is more or less set, I will go down tomorrow or sometime this week to check the availability of the room and see if it is feasible to hold the meet at the venue.

I just got back from town. Spoke to the person in charge briefly. The venue is good to go.

I will most probably book the cheapest option being the room for 12 people. It's not exactly big, but it is the most economical unless others don't mind chipping in more lol.

There is only one sticky issue. I need to get the power wattage from everyone's equipments and we have to make sure that they are tagged by a certified technician/electrician. lol. I'll pop a PM to everyone in a bit.

Glad im not going to be using more then just battery power :)

I'm guessing they dont want more than 2400W from an outlet. Most gear you are looking at ~33W per item.

I've run my amp off a 50W stepdown but use a 100W stepdown just for safety.

It seems a bit excessive to have to have everything rated and tagged by an electrician.

I'd rather not go than jump through rings, personally.

I wonder if there are any non-commercial places available? So long as we spread the power out it shouldnt be a problem.
