it's likely to be on a weekend; as soon as we can confirm a day and time, I'll post it up and just let me know if you are able to make it. would be great to have you :)

Just an update, I've sent the State Library an email to inquire about the availability of venues on the 11th, 18th and 25th of July.

awww...bummer, I don't recall you mentioning any availability on the 18th? Would you be good for then? Or only the 28th?

lol i was kidding, though partially, I wouldn't mind having a listen to them just for the experience; alright anyhow...it should be at the Central Library assuming they get back to me else I'll pop by to reconfirm with them and stuff. I'm going to see if the foyer of the library is a more viable place as it will give us the flexibility of having more people in the place should more people wish to pop in whereas the meeting rooms are small and are limited in space.

I'd honestly prefer not to have it in the foyer considering that there will be quite a lot of gear then and if you have randoms walking in and out, things may go missing...

Yeah, I'm checking with them first to see if the foyer is detached from the main walking area, if not, then we will have to take it to a meeting room.

Good luck with the venue hunting. Going to a place in the city isn't cheap :(.

well, depending on the amount of people, at the moment, it is looking like 10 - 15 per person at a guess which is reasonable considering the others I have looked at. I don't have many contacts around here cos' I don't come from Perth, so I'm at a loss for venues and so far I'm the only one who has come up with any lol. So unless someone suggests something else... :)
