WTB: A "Decent" Headphone extension cable

As the title says, I need to get the signal from my Peachtree Nova, across the family room to my favorite chair.

 

I need about 10 feet give or take a couple of feet.  I'll be using it with a pair of D7000's, so I'd love one DIY'd from a stock D7000 cable, but Mogami or Canare starquad or what have you is fine.  I prefer copper, on the off chance that it really makes a difference, since the stock cable is 5N copper or some such.  If it is a DIY, I'd prefer nylon multifilament covering to monofilament, but plain old starquad is fine also.

 

Note that a new Grado extension can be had for around $45 give or take, and I'd be fine with that, so I'm not looking for much over $50.

 

I am a bit vain, so no ugly ducklings please...
