Ok, if anybody owns TB HPXs, some of you might know the ear pads are thin in depth and they touch the tips of my ears. Is there any ear pads I can buy that might fit the HPXs? I was thinking maybe the velvet ear pads from the DT880s. What do you guys think? If you have any other suggestions just let me know. Thanks.
Turtle Beach HPX alternate ear pads?

SWZ, or rather WayTooCrazy put on the Beyerdynamics Pro DT770 ear pads, and they worked like a charm. He said his ear no longer touched the drivers.
I can attest to the ultimate comfort those ear pads give.
Keep in mind that the Pro DT770/880/990 pads are a little harder than the Premium versions, but are still awesome. I don't know if the premium pads fit the HPX. I found them too soft, personally. the Pro version pads are pretty much perfect, IMHO. I had both the premium DT880 and DT770 pro at the same time, but I never tried to swap out the pads with one another to see if they were identical in build, with just different softness...

cant find any 770 ear pads though.
I found these ones but i think they're leather. How do you think they would be comfort wise? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/614417-REG/Beyerdynamic_904783_EDT_770S_Soft_Ear.html

I'd personally go for velour, as leather heats up and gets sticky.
You don't have to look just for 770 pads. 770/880/990 should all be the same. The difference is between pro and premium versions.
Feel me to correct me if I'm wrong. I was under the impression that the 770/880/990 are all the same with the exception of the exterior cups, and internal differences of the drivers themselves.
