Modern Tube Amp

I placed an order on this thing.

Main reason for ordering it was to test it.  There was a discussion on Audio Karma weather this thing is real or not, and that the tubes probably aren't actually in the signal path.  So I ordered it, gonna take it apart, and take a look, and test it's sound quality.

What do you guys think?  Possible crap?  Since it's on sale and free shipping today, I decided to place the order since I could just write this off.

Oh, and 2000 watts?  Pfft, yea RIGHT!  lol

My money is on it being a typical Pyle of crap (see what I did there?) like all of the Pyle products I have ever seen. I bet the tubes are just for show and don't have anything to do with the sound.

Thats what im gonna check.  They advertise it as a tube amp, im going to take it apart and see if it's in the signal path.

  • 400 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms

I know.  I'm suspecting the tubes are probably pre-amp, if in the signal path..  But I'm not really going to believe that those wattage ratings are valid either.
