One of, if not the, biggest online retailers in the UK. No concern there.

I'd be tempted if I didn't think the HD600s were too veiled for my tastes. I'm finding the Grado HF-2 more pleasing to my ears.

Thanks for the heads-up. Or, I see, you could opt for the HD595 at £201...

Be quick the prices have been bouncing about over the past few days. The HD600 was available for £99 according to another forum.

I couldn't buy one at 99 (hd600), I bought one at 160 pounds, twenty less than 650 now

do they ship the 650's to the US?

I'm definitely considering purchasing a pair since I'm a sucker for awesome deals.

Not a bad place to start. Not by any means.

Which should be considered as better 'phone for electronica&movies, HD650 or Dt770/600 ? Thinking of getting these because the deal is so awesome.

He would still need a fairly decent amp/source to get the most out of them. If that's not a big problem, then it should be an awesome leap into the audiophile journey(not to mention deals like these are rare to come across). Make the jump Initeriol...  and never look back

Play.com is worth watching regularly for deals. I bought Goldring NS1000s for £50 when the RRP was £160.
